The time has come to expand our team! At this time, INsight is accepting applications for new members! We are seeking full time investigators, reserve investigators, a broadcast technician, and monitor technicians. For a complete description of what we are looking for, and important things YOU should consider before joining a team, visit our applications page at the INsight Application Page.

Time sure flies! – July 8, 2011
How on earth is it July already? We hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July! May and June were whirlwind for sure! June included the TAPS Family Reunion in Whitefield, New Hampshire. What a great chance to hang out with teams we hold in such high regard, from all across the United States and Canada! We had a great time, made some great friends, learned a lot about our similarities and differences, and are already planning for next year’s reunion! So, watch your backs Jason and Grant! There are volleyball players out there who have a year to organize their revenge match for next year! Here on the home front, we are trying to stay cool and comfortable like everyone else! We’re very excited about our upcoming investigation at an area university! We’ll share more information when we can!

Goodbyes wrapped in best wishes! – April 19, 2011
It’s with a little taste of nostalgic sadness, but the strongest of best-wishes that we say goodbye to Brad Reed, Steve McAnally and Josh Hunter! These guys are not only terrific investigators, but have become family over the years! They are venturing off in a new direction, combining forces to take on the paranormal world with their own team! Doing so will free them to flex their creativity a little more, and will allow them more opportunity to collaborate with other teams and enthusiasts in the field to investigate, hold events, etc. We wish them the very best, and look forward to working with them in the future! It’s going to be fun watching these guys branch out! Watch out world, don’t say we didn’t warn you!

A new member is welcomed to our team! – March 14, 2011
We are thrilled to welcome Aubrie Hodson-Bayless to our team! We’ve had some shifting in job assignments at INsight, and Aubrie will now be our new case manager. We are very excited about the new possibilities this brings to us. Aubrie has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and is currently doing her graduate studies in counseling psychology. This will allow us to provide closer, more personal client care during stressful and emotional situations they may be experiencing. Aubrie’s contact with the client will be from the beginning of their contact with our team, throughout the investigation process, and following our investigation on an ongoing basis to ensure their needs are being met. This type of complete client care has been a goal of ours for some time, and we are thrilled to have Aubrie on board to make that a reality!

Stage Fright a success! November 1, 2010
I’m a bit late in posting this, but wow! Stage Fright was a great success this year! It’s exciting to see something continue to build as this has! We so appreciated our guests, their interest and involvement, and the special visit we were able to have with Charles Hall, who grew up in the theatre while his parents helped run it! An exciting and successful event! We’ll be meeting next week to fine tune it yet again, so that it is even better next year! Thank you to everyone involved, or who attended as a guest!

Stage Fright Event and Library Event!-October 14, 2010
The busy season is here! Our Poncan Event is just around the corner, and promises to be as interesting and fun as last year, if not more! We have additional speakers this year covering topics ranging from “low tech” investigation methods, to religion in the paranormal! We will still have topics to include evp work, gear used during investigations, paranormal theory, and much more! For more information, click “Stage Fright Event” at the top of this page! Also, this week, we are guests at a lock in for kids at the Ron Norick Library in downtown Oklahoma City! We’ll be sharing information with kids ages 11-16, and helping kick off their Halloween season with some great evp samples and photos! I love this time of year!

Fall is upon us!-September 23, 2010
It seemed like it would NEVER get here! Summer just went on and on! It’s finally here…ahhh…Fall! This is our busy season, too. We’re already inundated with cases, and are doing two per weekend, quite often. After a slow summer, the increase in pace is nice, and we’re excited about a few things we have working along with the rest! Most importantly, we’re excited to FINALLY be able to replace our stolen gear! Look for new equipment to be listed as we do start that process!

Position changes within INsight!-September 7, 2010
We’ve done a little restructuring, and we’re loving the new feel of things! We’ve better defined roles within INsight and are proud to announce a few new titles! First, Mark Fairchild will be moving into the position of tech manager. Mark has an obvious love for the technical side of investigating, and stays current with all the new equipment emerging into the field. Mark is a natural choice for this position! Next, we have Brad Reed moving into the position of Lead Investigator. Brad has proven to be strong for this position by addressing staffing needs and organizing teams for investigations. He has a quick sense of what is needed, and makes sure those needs are met. Finally, Scott Tatum has accepted the role of Training Director for INsight. Scott will be making sure that all new INsight investigators are adequately trained, as well as making sure that the entire team stays current with training. His prior experience in this area made him a strong choice for this position! A strong team, getting stronger! It’s a great thing!

Stage Fright Tickets are NOW available!-August 22, 2010
Come catch Stage Fright at the beautiful and historic Poncan Theatre in Ponca City, Oklahoma. This remarkable theatre is a favorite site for our team, rich with history and mystery! During the event, members of INsight Paranormal and the Northeastern Oklahoma Research Society will present information on topics ranging from how to conduct historical research, recording and listening to electronic voice phenomenon, and religion and the paranormal, to the possible role quantum physics may play in explaining paranormal events! Catch all the information by clicking the “Stage Fright Event” tab at the top of the page!

Preparing for Stage Fright 2010 -August 21, 2010
Well, we’ve been planning for some time, but today we nail down the final details for Stage Fright 2010 at the Poncan Theatre in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The event will take place October 23rd, and will feature informative presentations by INsight members, as well as by investigators from NORS, our friends in the Tulsa area. I can’t wait to be able to present all of the final details for this event, as this is going to be even more dynamic and informative than last year! Keep an eye on the “events” tab of our website for more information to be posted soon!

Another Welcome Back!-August 12, 2010
Can you welcome them back, if you never really let them leave in the first place? Well, we are! A little over a year ago, INsight Photographer Scott Tatum moved to Arizona. While there, he began to set up an Arizona branch of INsight Paranormal. Well, we never really warmed up to the idea that Scott left us, so when he let us know that he is now moving back home to Oklahoma, we were very excited! So, the opening for a photographer has been filled, and our INsight family is once again complete! Welcome back to the Sooner State, Tatum family!

Welcome and Welcome Back! -August 8, 2010
It was with great sadness, but also understanding, that we recently said good-bye to long time INsight member, Brad Reed. Now, it’s with celebration that we welcome Brad BACK to INsight! As good fortune would have it, the demands that were pulling Brad from participation have changed in a way that will once again allow him to participate. While his absence wasn’t for long, we felt very incomplete while missing one of our members. Welcome back, Brad!

It’s now with great pleasure that we welcome our newest INsight member. Wayne Harris-Wyrick joined our us in July, and has already proven to be a terrific addition to the team. Wayne is the director of the Kirkpatrick Planetarium at the Science Museum Oklahoma. His rich background in science and quantum theory will provide an excellent base on which to continue building our research efforts. After our first investigation, the comment was made that it felt like Wayne had been a team member of ours for a long time. It’s always great to have someone on board who immediately meshes with the team, and who transitions easily into our investigation efforts. Welcome to the INsight family, Wayne!

Oh, and just a teaser here…but word has it that one of our other former INsight members will soon be rejoining our ranks! Stay tuned!
