Field Member - John Dockum
My name is John Dockum and I live in North Bennington, Vermont. I teach 6th grade at Jamaica Village School on the slopes of Stratton Mountain. I like the rural life because hustle and bustle make me ill. I am married to Megan, a beautiful and fiery Irish lass and have 3 children, Maggie (4) and 4 month old twins, Finnegan and Mackenzie. I am a direct descendent of Wawanolette, or Greylock, and was born on a Canadian Indian reserve in Quebec called Odanak or St. Francis, on the banks of the St. Lawrence river. We call the water Alsigontegok because of all the white shells. I specialize in 17th and 18th century Algonquian history and trade, stretching my study to reenactments of the French and Indian War. I also from time to time discuss Native Spirituality and beliefs as it applies to paranormal phenomina, i.e. EVP, spirits, monsters, herbalism, etc. If you are interested in any of these, feel free to PM me here at the forum or you can find me in the TAPS webpage xat chat or Ghosthunters Chat on irc.
